I am an independant singer songwriter, guitarist, harmonica player, ropey pianist and occasionally a film maker. I have the honour of having recorded AFC Wimbledon’s first new song in over 30 years Blue Blood Veins (available from Wimbledon in Sporting History May 2022). Blue Blood Veins is also featured in the Digital Works film Production ‘Wombles from the Lane’.
I was singer in Attack of The Kodakromes and we released an Xmas single Rolling on Home via cdbaby. Other live and studio performances can be found across social media including my songs Take a Walk with Me, Cold Steel Heart and Arlington. I also performed extensively with Dave Helmore in ‘The Legendary Dick and Dave’ and while many bootlegs exist we sadly never released music formally.
I have played Folk In The Park, The Canizaro Festival, Carshalton Environmental Fair and over ten years I ran and performed at The Americana Kinda Thing/Acoustic Sessions at the Sound Lounge.
My musical history also includes harmonica playing for Hannah White, Billy Franks (Faith Brothers), Champignon (Ozric Tentacles) and 66 The Greatest Rock n Roll Band. I’ve compered and performed on many occasions at all manifestations of the The Sound Lounge, The Troubadour (Earls Court) and I ran the legendary South London Nelson Open Mic for seven years. South London Folk is my game.

My songs What I Need Is Your Love, The Demon Inside, If But and Maybe and An Undefeated Heart all reached the semi final stages of the UK Songwriter Competition – different years obv 🙂
I’ve also worked as a Multi Media and Video Projects Teacher, a Soundman, Computer Systems Project Manager and HR Manager.
I have 10 years experience working with children with special educational needs and children with behavioral issues. I have designed and delivered workshops which explored musical performance and recording, film making and stop frame animation process. I have had 3 short film making courses accepted under the AQA Unit Award Scheme.
